Liquid clear night air

Heavy in her arms, her voice softly desparate, singing
ancient songs, forgotten meanings.
Veiled indifference

So, so far away
steel grumbles cold against steel.
Hauntingly the siren wails achingly long and low
then slowly fades, taunting loneliness.
Standing, dancing, holding, smiling, circling, pushing, pulling, centering, warming, cooling, breathing, shaking, dreaming, waking, closing to the flame.
listening to space
seeing emptiness
feeling warmth, spiraling
embracing into nothingness
opening into everything
