WDGA Profile

Let me elaborate how WDGA started, Wisconsin old timer golfers, 2 deceased Ray Kessenich of Madison and former Milwaukeen Philip Zola and active Tony Panella also of Milwaukee who presently resides in Philadelphia founded the first Wisconsin Deaf Golf Association tournament back in 1952 at Lake Lawn Resort in Delevan. This was 5 years after Midwest Deaf Golf Association founded in 1947 which hosted first annual in Wisconsin land. This will be our 55th Annual tournament this year and no other deaf state golf organization has held longer than this. The WDGA acts in co-operation with other deaf golf Association in other state neighbors. WDGA tournament are formated by single flight and only one round of 18 holes game. Scores are used by Callaway system. Out of state golfers are welcome to participate in WDGA Tournament.
