NEW SCHEDULE FOR CHILDREN’S CHURCH - The Children’s Church team is excited to announce that there will be a new schedule for Children’s Church beginning in March 2006. Instead of meeting for a few minutes every Sunday morning, we will meet for a full hour on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 9:30 AM. Holidays may cause a change in the schedule, as in April when Easter falls on the 3rd Sunday. In April, we will meet on the 23rd. In addition, we plan on continuing Children’s Church through the summer months. Children’s activity bags will be available for use during the worship service on Sundays when there is no Children’s Church and also, Pastor Jane will continue the children’s sermon as usual on those Sundays. However, there will be no children’s sermon on the day that Children’s Church is scheduled. If you have any questions about the new schedule or would like to help with the activity bags, please call any member of the Children’s Church team: Alannah Ashlie, Dawn Berard, Kathy Flitsch, Janet Slater and Sue Wentland.
MARCH 19TH CHILDREN’S CHURCH LESSON PRAYER & PRETZELS - Children’s Church is for children age 4 through 6th grade and on Sunday, March 19th at 9:30 AM the Children’s Church lesson will be about prayer. What is prayer? What is the right way to pray? Is prayer important? Does your family pray? Parents, these are some questions you may want to discuss with your children to get them thinking about prayer before Sunday, March 19th. And, by the way, what do pretzels have to do with prayer? Come and find out!
