Criteria:

Fans:
All fan presentations must be directly related to Cyan products, Myst, Riven, Exile, Revelation, Uru, or the Myst Universe in some way.

Developers:
Developer presentations are always welcome, as long as they conform to the same criteria as the fan presentations.

All presentations are for the benefit and entertainment of the Mysterium attendees and may not include marketing, advertising, or promotions of any company or business.  Please coordinate all presentations with the Mysterium Committee.

Time Constraints:

There is a limited amount of time available for all fan presentations. This time will be split up evenly between all presenting groups. It is recommended that your presentation take a few minutes less than your allotted time in order to allow for a question / answer period at the end of your presentation. Because of problems in the past, the time constraints will be strictly observed this year with the aid of a timer.  Please be courteous to everyone and be prepared to complete your presentation by time the timer goes off.

Equipment:

If possible, the Mysterium Committee will secure a free meeting room within the hotel.  If it is not possible to obtain a free meeting room, then we would need to depend upon donations to cover the cost.  Any equipment needed for presentations should be provided by the presenters if possible. Donations above and beyond what is needed to pay for a meeting room will be used to pay for additional equipment.  Equipment costs not covered by donations should be split among the presenters using it.

Prize Giveaways:

Unfortunately,  due to time constraints and a desire to be fair to all presenters and attendees, we cannot permit drawings, raffles, or giveaways of unique prizes during presentations.

Each year at the door to the presentations, we try to give everyone a small souvenir unique to that year's event, such as buttons or magnets.  If you would like to give away your own souvenirs, please be sure to contact the Mysterium Committee ahead of time.  You will need to bring enough of each souvenir for every registered attendee.

If you have one or more special prize to offer, please discuss it beforehand with the Mysterium Committee.  We may be able to make other arrangements to assist you in distribution outside of the presentations.

If you would like to make a presentation at this year's Mysterium, please email the committee at mysterium@wi.rr.com  Please put "Attn: Presentations" in the subject line and be sure the body of your email includes a basic sketch of the content, estimated time, and technical requirements.  Please note that all presentations must be submitted as outlined above in order to be officially considered for eligibility.  Privately contacting a Mysterium Committee member regarding your presentation does not negate the need for the written proposal as outlined above.
