Hickory Grove Sanatorium, circa 1928, located about 5 miles south of DePere WI
I got this picture from Brian Gaber, who had a
relative who died at Hickory Grove in the 1920s.
Does anyone out there know if there are any death records around for Hickory
Grove, or if there
was a cemetery nearby where residents who died were buried? My guess is that the
above picture
was taken shortly after the building was constructed in 1928. I think that other
buildings preceded
this one, but have no pix or records about them.
I get a lot of requests from people looking for
death records from Wisconsin Sanatoriums.
