"My Medieval Madness Restoration Project"

When I got this game in it had been well played. I wanted to bring it back to better then new quality and turn it into something I could be proud of. Follow me through the following pictures showing this restoration process. I think you'll see as you progress that this game turned into something special when it was finally completed.

Thanks for sharing this restoration with me by having a look at my hard work, David Schulpius

Just started removing the decals on a MM. Kind of sad but the only way to get back to that "Like New" look when a good pin has gone bad.

OUCH!

Sanded and ready to seal. Then apply the new decals

Complete and looking good. All edges are touched up with a black paint pen. Page up and see what a difference it makes!

Loaded on my homemade playfield stand and ready to tackle some ugly repairs

I used Devcon Plumber Epoxy Putty as a filler

I got screwed!

Complete, all hardware installed and clearcoated

The wood was bad all the way up here because of the ball drop!

Back in the playfield stand and I'm finally starting to reassemble everything.

Dropping the heavy playfield into the cabinet

It's in and my back's not hurting at all!

Nice clear ramps

No more ball trails!

Clean and shiny

Perfect ramps

Repo dragon wings. Their darker but nice. I like!

The Coat of Arms on the castle is from Treasure Cove. I think Allen's idea of reproducing it with a purple background looks great. It fits in nicely with the color scheme of the game.

Light mod has been done on the Merlen Hole plastic. It's tied into the Merlen's Magic under playfield light and looks great during game play.

All done! Now, here's the real test.... What would you pay for this game?
