Polaris 2005 900 Fusion
This is another recent addition
to the race team. We’ll start our setup work in the next several weeks for the
2005 grass season.
This was our first 440. We learned a lot about clutching a small horse power engines – most of it the hard way. We took 1st place in the grass semi-pro division. With the addition of 2 new sleds we’ve sold the 440.
This sled has been raced for the past 2 years and is very
fast. It can easily beat any stock out of the box sled in a 500 foot Grass
Drag. Top radar speed is 95.1 MPH in 1000 feet.
This is one of our original race sleds. It’s owned by Jason Carstens and has gone through significant revisions over the year. It can still hold it’s own in many races.
Vintage
2000 24’ Enclosed Trailer
This trailer has proven to be an excellent addition for the team. The portable generator, lighting, heating, storage and work area have proven invaluable while at the track. Especially the heat on these cold January days at the track!
Digatron Testing
Unit
A large reason for our success is our Digatron 54SN testing unit. It is set up with exhaust and tach sensors. It is also equipped with portable timing beacons which allow us to test virtually anywhere. The data is downloaded to our PC for analysis.
