They must have had some association with a place named "Enderby" as that was the name he gave to his house and the family remembers being told they came from somewhere near the Wash in Lincolnshire. Their mother was apparently Italian, named MayAnn FILLIPO/PHILLIPO whose family left Italy during/because of a war. Any help with this family name would be greatly appreciated.

This information came from certificates held by my late mother Lilian Jackson who was the daughter of Arthur & Lily and an aunt to Stephen Hudson. I tried to contact Stephen with the email link provided but it is now defunct. I am so pleased I found this entry as a mystery has been solved which my mother was unable to explain
