CHRIS STUART
SURNAMES: COLDRON, STUART
I am looking into the COLDRON family of Bassingham. William COLDRON married
and had children with his wife Mary between 1785 to 1797. His daughter Sussanah
married my Great Great Grandfather at All Saints Stamford in 1820. They lived
in Stamford from 1820 -1824 and returned to Bassingham in 1824/5.
My Great Great Grandfather was called George STUART and lived in Bassingham
from 1820 until his death in 1871. The problem I have is that he walked down
from somewhere near Perth in 1815/1820 but all we have that appears authentic
is his dob of 27/8/1799. I am trying to find out why Sussanah moved to Stamford
in the hope that this may lead to more information on George's background.
