WALTER CECIL B 4/17/1867 D ?/?/1960. All were baptized at Halton,Bechering,Wragsby. I'm not sure of the spelling of these names. We're trying to decipher some 100+ year notations in an old Bible.From what we can gather the family resided at one time in a Skendleby Lodge presumably in the town of Skendleby in Lincolnshire county.

My father REGINALD VAUVERT died in Grimsby in1971 (drowned in the docks). I believe his father was Charels Raymond VAUVERT. He is supposed to have died around about the early 1930's in the Barton on Humber area.
Charles was married to a Rhoda or Rhona Victoria BORDER who remarried a chap called COOK. They moved to the Lincoln area. I've possibly found out that Charles may have been born in Bradford but I'm working on this. Any information would be gratefully accepted.

Edith Clarke was born around 1875, and was from a farming family in the Grantham area, although she later moved to Notts where she married William DAYKIN. ( It's possible that the whole family moved to Notts). She had at least 2 sisters and a brother - Beatrice, Nell and Tom. I can't find anything on the family in the 1881 census. ( It's a fairly common name, and I haven't a lot to go on). I would be interested to know if anyone else is researching the Clarkes from Grantham.

Searching for p/ or siblings of James Well(e)s who was transported to Virginia from England before June 1654 James Well(e)s is thought to have been born possibly as early as 1590 somewhere in England. There is some thought that it may have been b.in Lincolnshire. James Wells d.1669 and was buried in the Marshton Parish Graveyard, York County, Virginia near Williamsburg (age 79) It is possible that he is the James Wells who married Mary Pishye on 28 May 1615 in Butterwick (Holland), Linconshire, England (age 25).Their known children were: John Well(e)s b: Cir 1620; d: Cir 1680; George Well(e)s b: Cir 1630; William Well(e)s b.cir 1630. It is possible that they were actually transported to the colony prior to 1654 as this is the year in which the men who transported James Wells and others received a their land grant in Va.
