Weapons

Legends of the Wilderness features many weapons which function the same as their Legends of the Old West versions.  The bayonet, however, is treated somewhat differently and (when on a musket, obviously) counts as a Spear as described on page 41 of The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game.

British Forces

Gage’s Light Infantry                        22 points

The 80th Regiment of Foot, or Gage’s Light Armed infantry, provided valuable service in the American Colonies until 1764 and contained a high proportion of independent minded individualists which meant the unit was better suited for scouting and advance/rear guard duties.

All Woodland Indians use the Life is Precious and Counting Coup (scalping) rules of the same name as described on page 28 of Blood on the Plains.

Allies:   When used as allies alongside British and French forces, both sides may use the Life is Cheap rule found on page 52 of Legends of the Old West with respect to Indians and non-Indians. Indians also make their Head for the Hills test separately and without regard to the continental forces on their side.  Continental forces include Indians in their Head for the Hills tests and, if the Indians leave the battle, they are counted as casualties for making the test.
