Any one doing research on Frederick ROLOFF, b. 3/11/1811 in Prussia, d. 3/24/1868. Married to Caroline BAHR Roloff, b. 1817, d. 1869. Came to Outagamie Co. in 1857. He was blacksmith and farmer. Resided in Maple Creek, Outagamie county. (from Outagamie Co. Pioneer Record). We are looking for any relations further back or related to Caroline BAHR. Children included son August. Barbara married (1) John ENGEL (B: 1852 D: 1895), married 1880?, and (2) Nichols ENGEL (B: 1859 D:1931) in 1895. Matthew Patrick BATEMAN was buried at Prairie View Cemetery near Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. I believe this Cemetery might have been known as the Bateman Cemetery. Carl BATHKE and Henritte STUEBAR both were born around 1828 in or near Stettin, Prussia. They were married there and came to the US in 1856, going first to New York and then to Kewaskum, Washington Co, Wisconsin. Their daughter, Emma Louise BATHKE, born 1860 in Washington Co., was my great-grandmother. She married Jess TARMAN in Missouri in 1878. I am looking for Dorthy Ramsburg BAUER, married to K. E. Bauer. Her father, Morris Ramsburg was my uncle. In Dec. of 1973 Dorothy and her family lived in Sussex. BENNETT, John. Probably born in 1821 in Cornwall, England (Camborne). Parents unknown. Lived in Mineral Point, Iowa County, Wisconsin during the 1840s. Married Mary TERRILL from Cornwall (Redruth) in 1845 in Mineral Point. Naturalized also in Mineral Point. Looking for marriage certifiate and naturlization papers. BENNETT made three trips across the plains from Wisconsin to California between 1849 and approx. 1852, eventually moving to Grass Valley, California. Wife Mary and son John appear in in 1850 census in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. BENNETT'S occupation was miner and flour/hardware store owner. Am looking for descendants of Dorothea BERNDT-KRAUSE (born 1821/married to Carl KRAUSE who did not come to the USA) from Pommern, Germany. Dorothea came to the USA via Hamburg > NYC > Bonduel,Wisconsin in 1884. She was traveling with her children: Wilhelm KRAUSE (b.1857/married to Alwina NOFFKE), Wilhelmina KRAUSE (b. 1862/married to August NOFFKE), my great-grandmother. Henrietta KRAUSE (b. 1861/married to Carl BLAESE, and Marie KRAUSE (b.1867/married to Franz BARTELT). I am searching for information on my grandfather Howard BINGHAM. He settled in Crandon, Wisconsin after serving in the Army during WWI. He was born around 1898. He married Viola Rose Fredericks. He had three children with her, Joanne Betty BINGHAM, Shirley Dorothy BINGHAM and Lowell Thomas BINGHAM. My Dad was put into a Foster Home when he was 3 years old. Interested in finding more information on John C. BLACK and his wife, Amanda E. (McWilliams) Black. They were married November 01, 1858 in Platteville, Grant County, Wisconsin. John C. Black died of fever on Oct. 22, 1864, at Atlanta, Ga., in Sherman's "March to the Sea" during the Civil War. He was a Private in Company E, 25th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. Searching for information on Mark And Elizabeth (Otter) BLACKBURN. Mark and Elizabeth lived in England durring the 1800's, possibly New Warf. They had 3 son's who came to America about 1882. The son's mames were Albert, Aaron, and Charles. Albert and Aaron settled on farms near Pickett, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Charles moved to South Dakota. They had a sister, Betsy, who stayed back in England. Rumored has it that Elizabeth BLACKBURN was a cook for the Queen. Albert married Carrie Moore and had a son named Oscar, born April 23, 1895. Oscar BLACKBURN was my grandfather. Albert was my great, grandfather. Mark my great-great grandfather. Blackmun

My ancestor was Martin Powell BLACKMUN -- he was christened in Mooer's, N.Y. in 1807 and married Mary DEWEL (DUEL) in Massena, N.Y. in 1830. In 1850, the family with six children moved to Wisconsin -Indian Lands near Berlin??- He was killed in Nashville in 1864 while helping to clear off the battlefield. I am looking for his parents names, as well as any information on the children who did not move to Minnesota. The six children were Juliana-(?), Silas, Alonzo, Samantha (my ancestor) m. Frederick W. BORNER of Oconto, Wisconsin was a Corporal in Company B of the 38th Regiment of Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. Enlisted into service 30 March, 1864. Married at the time to Maria GELLERT. Occupation was lumberman. He was born in Ferdinandshof, Pommern, Prussia in 1830, moved with wife to Buffalo, Minnesota sometime around 1880. Had two daughters who stayed and lived in Marinette, Wisconsin: Mary and Minna, both married into WISNER families. In Monroe and Juneau Counties, Wisconsin: Braman, Downs, Grovesteen, Hilliker, Kjetilson, Olson, Smith, Svinbol, Spooner. In Jefferson County, Wisconsin: Braman, Brown, Downs, and Smith. The Norwegian line comes from the Suldal region and near Tinn in Telemark, Norway. The other names evidently came from New York State - perhaps Livingston County. Brychell

As I have traveled the county the past 10 years, I am constantly scouring phone books for anyone of the BRYCHELL line, but I have yet to find anyone outside of my immediate family. My father (Joseph John) was born in Steven's Point, Wisconsin in 1933, however his father (Joseph) passed away when my dad was very young and his mother remarried, so information is scarce. I do know that my great-grandfather's name was also Joseph and I had a great uncle living in the Steven's Point area for many years (as late as the 1980s that I know of). Joseph BURLINGAME (b. abt 1820, NY) and Affa ROSENCRANTZ (b. 1828, PA) married 21 Jan 1849 in Grant County, Wisconsin. They had Edith in May 1850, George in June 1852, Catharine in 1858 and Sarah Mattie on 16 Sept 1861, all in Wauxega, Crawford Co, Wisconsin. In 1870, the three younter kids were living with their grandparents Samuel and Sarah (?) ROSENCRANTZ in 1870 in Wauxega. None of them are listed in 1880. Burnell

Seeking information on Charles James BURNELL, b. ca. 1890, who operated a dance hall in Grand Rapids (now Wisconsin Rapids) in 1913. He married Ruth HUTCHINSON on 31 Oct 1913. He does not appear on the 1900 or 1910 Federal census for that county. He later became an itinerant photographer. I have checked Soundex for the 1920 census in 35 states, and have not found him. Looking for siblings of Herman BUROW, b. 5/1833 in Stuchow, Prussia. Came to U.S. in 1852, lived in Appleton, Wisconsin 1852-1855, then moved to Hustisford (Dodge Co.). Butts

Daniel BUTTS (Butz) b@1804 in Pa. married Eunice Berry BONNELL b. @1812. They moved to Milton Junction, Wisconsin with his brother and mother- Jeane (Jane) Shaw BUTTS. Jane died 15 Mar 1851 & is buried in Milton Junction cemetary. Daniel disappeared...@1850. He was said to have named Milton. Eunice brought her children from both marriages to Fayette Co. Il. Michael stayed, but Eunice and her son Robert when on to Calif. Any info on the rest of Michael's family would be greatly appreciated. Would love to know Jane's & Eunice's ancestor's names.
