Crossed last Divide Aug. 6,1931
Army scout in Arizona during apache
campaign
Hunter & Trapper in San Juans for 40 years



He is like a tree planted
near running water. That
yields its fruit in due fade
whatever he does prospers
                               Psalm 1:3
Received the good conduct medal. Three bronze stars
and the Victory medal while serving under General
George Patton in the American theater of World
War II

Love only knoweth
whence it came and
comprehendith love

One by one earth's ties are broken
as we see our love decay
and the hopes so fondly cherished
Brighten but to pass away
one by one our hopes grow brighter
as we near the shining shore
for we know across the river
wait the loved ones gone before.
April 21, 1890  53 years.  3 months 17 days



Precious darling, thou hast left us,
left us yes, for ever more.
But we hope to meet our loved one
on that right and happy shore.
