| Custom Programming |
| An applications program is something like Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel, as opposed to software like Microsoft Windows that actually operates a computer. I do custom applications programming for clients using a number of different software packages and programming languages. I work either on-site or in my office. |
| User Instructions |
| I write instructions and other literature that show people how to use computer programs. This is especially important for those who are not comfortable with technology. A good set of instructions goes a long way toward making software easier to use. People learn faster and do not have to pay as often for technical support. |
| Technical Documentation |
| I draft technical documentation and create flow charts to show how programs work. This kind of literature is useful to other professionals who need to work with a software package. |
| Report Files |
| I use Report Writers to create files for generating reports and other documents. I also create programs to collect data for reports and print them. Clients can get information and documents quickly and easily. |

Web Sites |
| Usually I meet with clients in person to find out what they want a site to have. I create a preliminary version of a site, touch bases with a client again to get further input, and make changes as needed until the client is satisfied. I develop sites by typing my own computer code rather than depend on a software package like FrontPage or Dreamweaver. I can also help arrange for web site hosting, securing a domain name, and registering a site with the different search engines so it can be more easily found. |

PC Tuneups |
| I will come to your home or office to download operating system patches, install anti-spyware programs, and update internet security software. I will also clean up hard drives, defragment files, and set up scheduled tasks to maintain your computer. |
