Welcome to my home on the Web! There won’t be any real “world altering” epiphany’s to be found here on my site, just some stuff that I find interesting and/or cool. DIGITAL Renaissance is my business name. I do freelance computer animation and nonlinear digital video editing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Eventually I will put up some of my animation and graphics projects for all to see, but that will happen AFTER I put up my other, less functional, but more fun projects.
  • First up will be a few pictures of my rapidly growing coin-op arcade. I started this hobby in June, 2000, after thinking about doing it for the last 15 or so years.  It appears to be a drug of some sort, as I just can’t get enough of it now. In May 2000 I had no coin-ops and now I have 5 standup machines, and my long time friend, Mark Schneider, just had to best me, and he now has 7 coin-ops in his kitchen. I do have one thing Mark doesn’t have. . .YET. . .

I have the “Uber” MAME cabinet in my office to play 2500 old and new arcade classics (and yes, about half of those 2500 probably suck), but the good ones are REALLY GOOD. This distraction in my office helps while away the time as my computers render out hundreds of frames of animation. Read all about the “Uber” cabinet in the MAME Project link. Mark named the beast, and since I’m not German, he had to tell me that “Uber” means GREAT, and that is an understatement of it’s fun factor.

Also please check out the “CONNIE” section for some historical information on B-24H-1-F0 #42-7682 “Connie” Code:2U-L. This is the 8th Airforce
B-24 that my father and the rest of his crew flew during World War II.

    Enjoy!
