WELCOME TO THE COMMUNICATIONS RESEARCH GROUP! The CRG is all about radio frequency scanning in and around the state of Wisconsin. Here you'll find meeting information, breaking news of interest to the scanning community, and links to related sites. If you would like to become a member, please send us an email, or visit the Scan-Wis Email Newsgroup link for more information on the CRG's primary communications tool, linking scanner enthusiasts together via email! * We are a group of active monitoring enthusiasts that are looking to continually improve our hobby. We enjoy determining unit number plans, transmitter locations, tower users, radio frequency plans, etc. * Many of us are former RCMA (Radio Communications Monitoring Assn.) members. * Our club has been listed in the Monitoring Times magazine in the Club Circuit section to let interested people know that we exist. * We have an ongoing project of Communications profiles for each county in Wisconsin. * Active members can get County profiles for updating of information. * We are an information resource for each other. * We are currently meeting 2 times per year (Spring & Fall). We would like to increase this as interest grows. * We sponsor a listserver called Scan-Wis@yahoogroups.com.
