This mod adds over 220 sound effects to the entire land of Vvardenfell. There are 13,621 emission points in exterior locations, 283 points in taverns for sound effects, 20 for music, and 180 inside Daedric shrines. Most sounds are randomly picked, play at random time intervals, and are controlled by weather conditions and day/night cycles.In swampy areas, at night, you'll hear crickets only when it's clear or cloudy. Frogs ribbit in all but thunder, ash, or blight storms. Three types of owls hide in thunder, ash, or blight storms, while three more types of owls come out only in clear or cloudy conditions. During the day, you'll hear a wide assortment of swampy sounds, 26 in all with 5 random pitch variations each, coming from the ground and trees. Other regions have a similar setup but with their own unique sounds. More... Download locations: (15,125KB) Unforgotten Realms |
This update to Atmospheric Sound Effects 3.0 adds 105 new sounds throughout the world of Vvardenfell with 2,646 sound emission points. All but a few sounds added are randomized. You'll hear creaking for wooden plank structures and wooden beams in caverns, water dripping in caves and sewers, and other sounds that give a creepy ambience to caves. Banners outside buildings have the sound of heavy fabric flapping in the wind accompanied by various clinking and clanking. And when you stand outside a tavern, you'll hear the muffled ruckus of what goes on inside.More... This update to Atmospheric Sound Effects 3.0 adds 110 3d-positioned sounds throughout the world of Vvardenfell with 2,066 sound emission points. All sounds added are randomized except for the new footstep sounds.In towns, you'll hear screeching cats, barking dogs, rats, wind chimes, wood sawing, metal hammering, pullies, running footsteps, opening doors, closing doors, locked doors, knocking on doors, and voices. These sounds are most prominent during daylight hours when the weather is clear or cloudy. At night or during adverse weather conditions (foggy or overcast) the sounds are less frequent. If it's raining, thundering, or dust-storming the sounds vanish. As you near a cave entrance, foreboding sounds might make you think twice before entering the cavern. Sewers are much scarier now with sounds that only exist in the imagination. More... Download locations: (2,301KB) Unforgotten Realms This server Tripod server (right click and save target as...) This update to Atmospheric Sound Effects 3.0 adds weather effects inside tent, wood, and stone structures. Each type of structure has unique sounds for rain, thunderstorms, and dust/blight storms. Thunderstorms are accompanied by random thunderstrikes and random lightning flashes at windows. Wooden structures creak under the immense wind from dust and blight storms, and tents sound as if they'll blow away with the constant flapping during these storms. Rain and thunderstorms behave naturally with random swells; the rain comes and goes in waves (Tribunal only). Depending on where you are inside a building, the sounds get quieter or louder (Tribunal only). For example, basements are quieter and upper floors are louder.The foreboding sounds heard outside of Daedric shrines are now heard inside as well. More... This is a program written by Vladimir Kraus and he has graciously given me permission to distribute it with ASE. It applies the required morrowind.ini settings for ASE by using a simple text template file. Just unzip the archive anywhere on your system and run mini.exe, then apply the appropriate template. Two template files are included: one to apply the the ASE settings, ase30-apply.mit, and one to restore the defaults, ase30-undo.mit. You can make template files for just about anything that morrowind.ini contains. For example, different plugin sets, different lighting values, different color schemes for menus, etc. Look at the included template files to see how to write one. | Dynamic Magicka Regeneration 2.0 | |||
|
This plugin adds a global script to the game which dynamically regenerates the players magicka. It does this by using the player's intelligence, willpower, restoration skill, mysticism skill, maximum magicka, magicka ratio, fatigue ratio, and health ratio. Here is the formula used: skills = 20% intelligence + 20% willpower + 30% restoration skill + 30% mysticism skill divisor = 401 - maximum magicka - ( magicka ratio * 100 ) health and fatigue factor = fatigue ratio * health ratio update interval = 60 game seconds regeneration amount per update interval = ( skills / divisor ) * health and fatigue factor In other words, the amount of magicka regenerated is based on 20% intelligence, 20% willpower, 30% restoration, and 30% mysticism. This sum is divided by a value that decreases (making regeneration faster) based on your maximum magicka (the value used in the formula is capped at 300) and your current magicka ratio. This means that if you currently have very little magicka reserves, regeneration will be slower than if you have almost full magicka reserves. Another way to say that is if a character has 100 magicka, it will take longer to regenerate from 0 to 50 magicka than it will from 50 to 100 magicka. And higher maximum magicka (up to 300) also helps speed up regeneration. More... Download (6KB) |

| Falling Down 2.01 | |||
|
This small plugin makes you keep an eye on your fatigue a little closer. You better make sure you have enough fatigue before you go into battle. And if your fatigue is getting low while in battle, you better run away, hide, take a minute to catch your breath, then go back and finish off the creature. Or you could carry a good supply of restore fatigue potions or some other means to regain some energy. When your fatigue goes below 60%, strength, agility, speed, and endurance are reduced by 3 points. If it's below 30%, those same attributes are reduced another 3 points. Let your fatigue go below 15% and strength, agility, speed, and endurance are reduced a total of 12 points plus you lose the ability to jump. Finally, if your fatigue reaches zero you will fall helpless to the ground. More... Download (8KB) |
