Star trails rise from the northeast in this 90-minute exposure taken at Harrington Beach State Park near Lake Church, Wisconsin in September, 2004. It was taken with a Hasselblad 500 C/M, Kodak E200 slide film and a 50mm lens set at f/5.6 The brightest star at left is Capella in Auriga. Red Aldeberan rises near the birch tree and the hazy blue Pleiades are right of center. A passing car leaves tail light streaks and illuminates a traffic sign and nearby birch trees. |
