This is a 30-minute exposure of the Milky Way, horizon to horizon, as seen from the Sunglow Ranch in Pearce, Ariz., on May 26, 2003. It was shot with a Nikon 16mm Nikon fisheye lens at f/5.6, mounted piggyback on a Losmandy G11. The film was Kodak Gold 400, processed normally. Near the upper left edge, the Andromeda galaxy can clearly be seen. At lower right is Sagittarius and a dim light pollution dome from Douglas, Ariz.,  about 40 miles away.
