| Galaxies M65, M66 and NGC 3593. This is a combination of 4 exposures of 4 to 5 minutes each, shot with Nikon D80 and a Nikkor 500mm f/4 P Nikkor lens and a Nikon 1.4xb teleconverter. The images were recorded as JPEG files, with the in-camera noise reduction applied after each frame. Taken at Harrington Beach State Park in Wisconsin on March 10, 2007. The camera and lens were mounted on a Losmandy G-11, and guided with an SBIG ST-4 and an ETX 90. |
