M-27, in the constellation Vulpecula, taken in July 2003 from a light-polluted back yard in Whitefish Bay, Wis. The image is a combination of two 30-minute exposures on 35mm E200 slide film , processed normally, using a Nikon 300mm f/2.8 lens and a 2x Nikon teleconverter for an effective focal length of 600mm at f5.6. The images were scanned and layered in Photoshop.
