| The Lagoon Nebula, also known as M 8, in the
constellation Sagittarius. This 45-minute exposure, using Kodak E200 slide
film, was made at
Sunglow Ranch in
Pearce, Ariz. on May 26, 2003.
I used a Nikkor 800mm f/5.6 lens, on a Losmandy G11 mount fitted with a home built cradle that also carried an ETX 90 used as a guide scope for a SBIG ST-4. It was scanned and had only subtle toning in Photoshop. |
