This is a combination of 6 frames taken within 2 minutes using a Coolpix 5700 digital camera, a Scopetronix adapter and a 24 mm Brandon eyepiece. The lens was set at 56.7mm at f/4.1 and the shutter speed was 1/15 sec. I use an electronic shutter release. The images were shot with a 10" f/6.8 Newtonian reflector, mounted on a Losmandy G-11 mount. The images were taken from a light polluted back yard in Whitefish Bay, Wis., on Jan. 30, 2003.
